#2.  Ghostface (Scream)

Scream is a rather clever film, and Ghostface is the perfect character for it.

The movie came out just about when people thought that nothing more could be done in the slasher film genre that hasn’t been done before. Ghostface delivered something fresh in that regard: The phone calls provide a personality, and the very distinguished and disturbing masked appearance makes him cling on to your thoughts. He was at his best in the first original Scream film, but still had a rather powerful impact in the later installments as well.
